Preserving & staples
The Mountain Pantry
Yogurt, butter, cured olives, stock, jam. The staples you were told to buy, made the way they were meant to be.
From scratch
Real butter you churned. Honey you know the source of. Bread with a story. Azime teaches the old way of making things, from scratch and without shortcuts, for a beautiful modern home.
The story
Azime grew up in a village in the Taurus Mountains, high above Alanya on the Mediterranean coast. Mornings meant milking, gathering, pressing and baking. The pantry was something you built with your hands over a season.
Today she lives in Cherry Creek North, Denver, loves beautiful things, and believes the old skills are the ultimate luxury. She teaches them to people who never had the chance to learn, with high standards and a little bit of heat.
"My grandmother never measured. You will, until you don't have to."
What we stand for
Every recipe and product has a place behind it: the mountain, the grove, the coast. We say where things come from.
Curing olives, making yogurt, laminating dough, preserving a harvest. Old skills, taught properly.
Azime cares enough to be direct. Do it right, or do it again.
Feed people well, set the table beautifully, and send them home with something.
Watch & learn
If you can buy it in a jar, you can make it better.
Preserving & staples
Yogurt, butter, cured olives, stock, jam. The staples you were told to buy, made the way they were meant to be.
Hosting & the shared table
Sofra means the shared table. Menus, table settings and the quiet art of making people feel welcome.
Technique, done properly
Knife work, laminated dough, butchery basics. Store-bought stock? Darling, no. Bones, water, time.
Set the table like someone you love is coming. Someone is.
